Photography Contest Winners 2024
Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Photography Contest. We are having a reception for the winners on Saturday, November 16 from 4:30-6PM. Winning photos will be on display.
A big thanks to our judges this year:
Vince Condella- Vince Condella was chief meteorologist at WITI-TV Channel 6 in Milwaukee for 34 years. He retired in 2016 and since that time has pursued his interest in photography. His photographs have been recognized by the Photographic Society of America, the Arizona Camera Club Council, The Wisconsin Area Camera Clubs Organization, and the Cedarburg Artist Guild. Vince has been fortunate to take part in numerous on-site photography workshops from Bayfield, Wisconsin to Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon, Big Sur, and the island of Kauai, Hawaii. He is proud to be a past winner in the Whitefish Bay Library Photo Contest.
Leena Meyers- Leena Meyers is an internationally awarded and exhibited photographer, 2x national medalist, and has earned over 130 awards at the international, national, regional, state, and local levels over her 13+ year career. She has had recent work exhibited in several Wisconsin locations including the Racine Art Museum, Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Peninsula School of Art, and ArtSpace Collective.
Leena currently works as a Content Marketer, and her most recent photographic interests involve color film and America’s beautiful national parks.
Brad Ribbeck- I was born and raised in Beloit, WI. I currently live and work in Whitefish Bay, WI with my wonderful wife and 2 children. I teach art at Whitefish Bay High School. Courses I teach include 2D Design, 3D Design, Ceramics, AP Studio Art, Photography, Graphic Design, and Video Production. After taking numerous photography courses, I have extended my learning and love for photography through personal experimentation and by teaching Photography and advising the yearbook at Whitefish Bay High School. There is always something more to learn.
