September is Library Card sign up month. Do you have a library card? If not, now is the perfect time to get one. A library card unlocks a plethora of materials and services. Getting a library card is easy! Milwaukee County residents just need a photo ID and documentation with a current address to sign up for a card. You can begin the process online, but you must come in person to complete your form. For patrons under the age of 16, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required. Browse the Take and Tinker collection and reserve an item with your library card! Items have a 7-day checkout (with a 3-day grace) and can be renewed up to 2 times if no one is waiting. Late fees are $.50 per day. Items can only be picked up at Whitefish Bay Public Library. Items must be picked up AND returned to the Circulation Desk.
